How can I workout without a gym?
You can do everything you need to do with inexpensive hand weights, resistance tubing, and your own bodyweight. We have over 10 years experience training seniors in their homes, and we’ve spent thousands of hours targeting muscles with limited space and equipment.
I’m not sure I can exercise with my health condition.
There’s always something you can do! We specialize in making exercise work for anyone, regardless of their limitations. We’ve worked with healthy, active seniors, as well as those with numerous chronic conditions and musculoskeletal issues. We will be happy to coordinate with your doctor, physical therapist, or other health professional while managing your program. Please consult your physician before beginning any exercise program.
I have an upcoming knee or hip replacment.
Actually, strength and flexibility training is very beneficial leading up to surgery and following up after physical therapy. We’ve had clients who began training leading up to a scheduled procedure, and they recovered much faster from their surgery after going in stronger. Also, having us as extra accountability afterwards helped them better commit to their continued rehabilitation.
I’ve tried personal training before and did not have a good experience.
